Promoting water conservation (activity 3)

1. Produce a brochure to inform about and encourage water saving behaviour.

2. Your brochure could be aimed at:

   • promoting water saving in urban areas (home and garden, include how and why)
   • promoting water harvesting in urban areas (what is it , why do it, how to do it).

3. Design a poster or banner to display at your school to encourage water saving behaviour.

4. Write a letter persuading your principal to adopt specific water saving measures. You will have to identify water saving measures that would be appropriate and beneficial to your school, describe the actions that would be required and present your ideas in an informed and persuasive manner.
