EPA fines Energy Australia for ash slurry spill
Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has fined Energy Australia Yallourn more than $7,500 for breaching the Environment Protection Act 1970 (the Act) over an incident earlier this year where ash slurry was discharged into the Morwell River.

Environment Protection Authority Victoria's (EPA) Moe air monitoring station is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Air quality data from this station are currently unavailable. The air quality forecast for the Latrobe Valley is expected to be GOOD to VERY GOOD for the remainder of the weekend.
