EPA completes installation of monitoring bores in South Geelong

Rendering company found guilty for rotting carcass smell
A Brooklyn meat rendering company that caused a ‘rotting carcass’ smell to impact on nearby residents to the point where they were too embarrassed to invite visitors to their homes was found guilty in court yesterday.

EPA deploys air monitoring equipment to Somerton fire
After a request from the Country Fire Authority (CFA), EPA has deployed its mobile air monitoring equipment to a large fire of construction and demolition waste in Somerton. The equipment will allow EPA to collect localised air quality readings.
