EPA's Information Centre provides a wide range of information on topics such as air and water quality, environmental legislation and a range of environmental guidelines covering a variety of industrial and business activities.

EPA is excited to have moved to a refurbished building with a 6-star Green Star rating for design.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, except public holidays:

• New Year's Day (1 January)
• Labour Day (second Monday in March)
• Good Friday and Easter Monday
• Anzac Day (25 April)
• Queen's Birthday (second Monday in June)
• Melbourne Cup Day (first Tuesday in November)
• Christmas Day (25 December)
• Boxing Day (26 December)

Variations occur when some of these fall on a Saturday and Sunday.

Calling from outside Australia

When calling EPA from outside Australia dial +61 3 before the number. Omit any numbers in parenthesis. For example, EPA's Information Centre number is +61 3 9695 2722. Note that 0 hours Universal Time (GMT) is 10am in Victoria. Daylight saving (+ one hour) is in effect from the first Sunday in October each year until the first Sunday in April of the following year.
