Information Centre
EPA's Information Centre provides a wide range of information on topics such as air and water quality, environmental legislation and a range of environmental guidelines covering a variety of industrial and business activities.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, except public holidays:
- New Year's Day (1 January)
- Labour Day (second Monday in March)
- Good Friday and Easter Monday
- Anzac Day (25 April)
- Queen's Birthday (second Monday in June)
- Melbourne Cup Day (first Tuesday in November)
- Christmas Day (25 December)
- Boxing Day (26 December)
Variations occur when some of these fall on a Saturday and Sunday.

When calling EPA from outside Australia dial +61 3 before the number. Omit any numbers in parenthesis. For example, EPA's Information Centre number is +61 3 9695 2722. Note that 0 hours Universal Time (GMT) is 10am in Victoria. Daylight saving (+ one hour) is in effect from the last Sunday in October each year until the last Sunday in March of the following year.
