Waste transfers
Transfers of waste are the movement of waste to sites such as a secure landfill, tailings dam or trade waste sewer. These are currently excluded from the NPI. To fully understand the waste generated by a particular site, and therefore encourage ways of reducing waste at the source, transfers of substances must be considered alongside their emissions.
