Devil Bend Landfill Works Approval Application (WA 65225)
EPA has received a works approval application from Grosvenor Lodge Pty Ltd. for the development of a new solid inert waste landfill which, if approved, will form an extension to its existing Devilbend Landfill operation. The proposed location for the new landfill is to the west of the current landfill in a former quarry site.
A public conference was held to discuss the proposal in Mornington on Tuesday 11 August 2009. The independent conference chair, Mr Bruce Turner, has written a report on the proceedings of the conference. The conference report will be considered by EPA when it determines whether a works approval should be granted. The conference report is available for download below.
If you have questions relating to the assessment of the works approval please contact Stefan.Van-Rhyn@epa.vic.gov.au or phone (03) 9695 2722 for further information.
