Enlightened Self-Interest - Solutions for Responsible Investors Presentation
EPA is proud to have co-funded the Enlightened Self-Interest- Solutions for Responsible Investors Presentation, which was launched at the UNEP FI Roundtable in Melbourne in October 2007. Produced by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia, this engaging presentation highlights the business case for responsible investment. To date the slide show has been used by HSBC, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Hewitt, Mercer, Morley and many, many others.

UNEP FI 2007 Global Roundtable: 24-25 October | Melbourne Park
The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) 2007 Global Roundtable has just been held and was a resounding success. The Roundtable was held at Melbourne Park and co-hosted by EPA under our Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Environment Programme.
Held every two years, the UNEP FI Global Roundtable is widely recognised as the principal global event on sustainability in the financial sector, promoting links between the environment, sustainability and financial performance.
The theme in 2007 was ‘Awareness to Action: sustainable finance for today’s global markets’. More than 450 delegates participated in workshops and discussions about sustainable finance and responsible investment, and explored opportunities for the finance community to proactively influence the global sustainability agenda. Over 170 delegates attended from overseas.
Minister Jennings officially opened the event, welcoming hundreds of delegates from financial institutions around the world and it also attracted significant media attention in both metropolitan and national newspapers.
