Suspected Port Phillip Bay Algal Bloom

Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE), EPA and other Victorian Government agencies responded to a suspected algal bloom in Port Phillip Bay the week commencing January 30.

An analysis of samples on February 3 found nothing harmful. The algal bloom is dissipating. Agencies continue to monitor the situation.
