Natural resources environmental auditor appointment 2006

Applications have closed for the 2006 round of appointments as Environmental Auditor (Natural Resources) under section 53S of the Victorian Environment Protection Act 1970.

Environmental auditors are appointed to carry out statutory duties pursuant to the Act including:

  • conducting environmental audits of segments of the environment
  • issuing certificates or statements of environmental audit relating to segments of the environment
  • conducting environmental audits of the risk to the beneficial uses of the environment associated with industrial processes or activities
  • other activities related to the statutory duties and functions of the Authority and other government agencies.

At this time, individuals were invited to apply to be appointed as environmental auditors in the category of natural resources.
