Approved Vehicle Testers
If you have received an EPA notice headed “Notice To Have Vehicle Tested – Exhaust Noise”, you must take the vehicle to one of the Noise Testers listed below. Your notice reference number will end in “N”
If you have received an EPA notice headed “Notice To Have Vehicle Tested - Emission Control Systems And Noise” you must take your vehicle to an Vehicle Emissions Systems Tester. They are also listed below. The reference number will end in “T”
Only the following testers can issue a certificate of compliance for noise. EPA does NOT issue these certificates. You are advised to ring the testers below to make an appointment to inspect your vehicle.
The test fee is $39.40 (inclusive of GST). This fee is charged by the tester for his services. It is not refundable.
