Call for exhibitors for 2009 HazWaste expo

EPA is calling for applications from interested exhibitors for its second HazWaste Expo in Melbourne on Tuesday 10 November.

HAZARDOUS is not a dirty wordEPA is expecting this year’s Expo to be even bigger and more successful than 2008, with over 40 exhibitors and around 500 attendees.

The Expo is a networking forum for representatives across industries dealing with contaminated soils and hazardous manufacturing waste. This is an opportunity to reach new markets at no cost.

The Expo also showcases the Victorian Government’s $30 million HazWaste Fund.

Exhibitors at the 2008 Expo included companies with innovative solutions ranging from energy recovery, in-vessel composting, low waste cleaning, oil-water separation, advanced metal recovery and thermal desorption.

2008 attendees reported that the Expo resulted in immediate solutions for 10 specific waste streams and five HazWaste Fund opportunities.

To register interest in the 2009 HazWaste Expo, call (03) 9695 2915 or visit hazwaste expo. Applications close Friday 2 October 2009 and EPA advises that exhibition places are limited.
