Does our Ecological Footprint affect others? (extension; activity 5)
In Australia we use and consume resources from all over the world and affect distant places with our pollution. Our Ecological Footprint is the sum of these areas wherever they are on the planet.
Task: Think about a way our large footprint impacts on people in other parts of the world. (It may help to think about components of your footprint and where resources and products that we use every day originated; for example, rainforest timber, food items, electrical appliances.)
