Clinical waste

At the Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA) Conference held in Melbourne, in November 2004, the fourth edition of the Australian and New Zealand Clinical Waste Management Industry Group (ANZCWMIG) Code of Practice for the Management of Clinical Wastes was launched by Mick Bourke, Chairman of EPA. Both EPA and the Western Australia Department of Environment have endorsed the code as guidelines for use in each of these states.
