State Environment Protection Policy (Prevention and Management of Contamination of Land)
The SEPP (Prevention and Management of Contamination of Land) puts in place general uses of land in Victoria. It also provides a way to show whether these uses are being protected. This can mean indicators and ‘objectives of use’ in assessing impacts.

Industrial Waste Management Policy (Waste Acid Sulfate Soils)
This policy aims to protect human health and the environment from this risk. It provides a management framework. It also has specific requirements for managing acid sulfate soils in the right way.
