Drivers can pick-up, drop-off or reject waste in the app. This guide explains how to reject a waste record in the app.

Step one – Log in

Log in to the EPA portal mobile app.

Step two – My waste records

Once you login you’ll be taken straight to the 'my waste records' home screen. You’ll see a list of all your waste records.

The 'active records' tab shows all active individual waste records.

Step three – Find waste record

In the 'my waste records' home screen, either search for the waste record ID or use the magnifying glass in the top left hand corner to find the waste record by producer, pick up location, receiver, drop off location or waste code.

Find and choose the waste record you want to reject.

Step four – Enter vehicle details

Once you’re in the waste record, click 'enter vehicle details'.

You won’t be able to reject a waste record until you add or update the vehicle details.

Complete the vehicle information and tick the box to confirm you know how to lawfully and safely transport the waste.

Click 'update vehicle details'.

Step five – Confirm you understand data collection by EPA

Review the record and tick the box to confirm you understand that EPA collects the information you enter about the waste load.

Click the 'reject' button.

Step six – Select reason to reject waste

Use the drop-down arrow to select 'reason for rejecting the waste'.

Include any additional information if relevant.

Click 'reject' to reject the waste.

Step seven – Confirmation

A confirmation screen will appear to confirm you’ve rejected the individual waste record.

Click 'return to homepage'.
