From 1 July 2021, EPA has a new EPA portal. After 1 July 2021, functions on the old EPA Interaction Portal are changing.

Waste transport certificates |
On 1 July 2021, EPA’s new waste tracking system – Waste Tracker – will replace the waste transport certificate system. Learn about the actions you need to take to be set up in the new system on 1 July. You will still be able to access WTCs here on the EPA Interaction Portal after this date. |
Licences and approvals | Licences and other approvals can be submitted in the new Portal from 1 July 2021 and can be viewed in the public registers on the EPA website.

Landfill levy |
This function will be moved from the EPA Interaction Portal to the new Portal ;on 1 October 2021. You will still be able to submit your final annual landfill levy statement for FY 2020–21 by 1 September 2021 here on the EPA Interaction Portal. All previously submitted waste levy statements will continue to be available here on the EPA Interaction Portal. |
Remedial notices |
No new remedial notices will be published after 1 July 2021. You will still be able to access remedial notices issued before 1 July 2021 here on the EPA Interaction Portal after this date. Remedial notices issued under the Environment Protection Act 1970 continue to remain in force for a maximum period of two years in accordance with legal transition provisions of the Environment Protection Act 2017. |
Post closure PANs |
No new post closure PANs will be published after 1 July 2021. Site management orders issued after 1 July will be published in the public registers on the EPA website. You will still be able to access post closure PANs issued before 1 July 2021 here on the EPA Interaction Portal after this date. Post closure PANs issued under the Environment Protection Act 1970 continue to remain in force for a maximum period of two years in accordance with legal transition provisions of the Environment Protection Act 2017. |
Audit reports |
Submissions related to new audit engagements (and also preliminary risk screen assessments) under the Environment Protection Act 2017 or of audit reports commenced prior to 1 July 2021 that are completed under the new Act, should be made through the new Portal from 1 July 2021. Audit reports commenced prior to 1 July 2021 but completed under the Environment Protection Act 1970 should be submitted here via the EPA Interaction Portal. Audit reports submitted after 1 July 2021 can be found in the public registers on the EPA website. You will still be able to access audit reports submitted before 1 July 2021 here on the EPA Interaction Portal after this date. |
