Many industries in the Melbourne suburb of Brooklyn create odours and dust. They can have negative impacts on people’s health and the environment.

EPA works with residents, industry, councils and other government agencies to prevent harm from pollution in Brooklyn. Since 2008, we’ve used a science-based approach to find the source of the pollution. EPA has made many regulatory and enforcement responses. Community pollution reports and our own investigations were the basis for our actions.
