EPA has been working with Melbourne Airport and Airservices Australia to manage the source of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in the Maribyrnong catchment. 

We have put together a working group to look at what further testing we need to do. The working group includes: 

EPA has issued notices to: 

  • formally identify who is occupying the site at Melbourne Airport
  • request information about the contamination on and around the site at Melbourne Airport.
