CFA has completed environmental assessments at and near the following operational training centres:

  • Penshurst
  • Wangaratta
  • Longerenong
  • Huntly
  • Fulham (Sale)
  • Bangholme.

The reticulated (mains) drinking water supplies in the communities surrounding these training centres is safe to drink. There is varying PFAS contamination in the soil, groundwater and surface water at each of the training centres. 

CFA is continuing to monitor for PFAS at each of the training sites.
