EPA’s new website is under construction. It contains links to our previous site while we add information.

EPA works to reduce the impact on the environment and community from the impacts of major infrastructure projects. These projects have the potential to cause soil, air, water and noise pollution.

EPA’s main role in these projects is to advise on:

  • steps industry should take to minimise or prevent impacts on the environment and community
  • guidelines and standards for managing soil, groundwater and air quality
  • guidelines for managing emissions such as noise, dust and waste.
