National Science Week 2020: 15–23 August
National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology. The theme for this year is ‘Deep Blue: innovations for the future of our oceans’.
EPA is hosting a series of podcasts to mark this year's event. Lead Scientist for Victoria Dr Amanda Caples and EPA's Chief Environmental Scientist Dr Andrea Hinwood will conduct six interviews between 16 August – 23 August. The podcast series ‘Science in Government: then, now and what next?’ will:
- profile a variety of science professionals working within the Victorian Government
- what they studied along the way
- what roles they have now
- and what scientific developments they look forward to in the future.
