EPA received a works approval application from Great Southern Waste Technologies Pty Ltd. The application proposes development of a waste-to-energy facility in Dandenong.
The proposed facility, to be located at 70 Ordish Road, Dandenong South, intends to process 100,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste and commercial and industrial waste per year
The public submission period has now closed. EPA is holding a community conference on Tuesday 3 March to discuss public submissions about the application.
Please note that no final decision regarding the works approval application will be made at the conference.
