EPA’s Chairman and North East Water’s Managing Director came together in Wodonga on 28 November 2007 to sign a sustainability covenant between North East Water and EPA. The covenant is a public commitment by both parties to work in partnership to improve sustainability across North East Water’s operational area within Victoria.
The covenant describes how both organisations will work together towards common goals of sustainability, deliver improvements to the environment and help others to do the same. It has two parts, including a specific commitment to a joint project during the first six months of the covenant, and further commitments to realise the objectives of the covenant and the visions of EPA and North East Water.
