Air quality monitoring at Rooney Street, Burnley, June 2001 – August 2002

As a consequence of the independent review (the 'Bongiorno Review') commissioned by EPA into Emission Control Technology on the CityLink Tunnels, Translink Operations (TLO) were required to perform air quality monitoring near the ventilation stack at Burnley (Rooney Street) to investigate the effect of stack wake on the dispersion of emissions. Now that the Rooney Street station has been in operation for over 12 months, EPA has reviewed the air monitoring data from TLO.
