DELWP–EPA Regulatory Impact Statement - Proposed Environment Protection (Scheduled Premises) Regulations 2017

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) and EPA are reviewing the Environment Protection (Scheduled Premises and Exemptions) Regulations 2007 before they sunset in mid-2017. These Regulations specify which premises in Victoria are required to obtain an EPA works approval and/or licence, and/or provide a financial assurance. This regulatory impact statement (RIS) has been published to help inform the review. We welcome your comments on the proposed Regulations and regulatory impact statement by 16 December 2016. Also included with this publication is the Commissioner for Better Regulation's letter confirming that the RIS meets statutory requirements regarding the adequacy of its analysis.
