This protocol for environmental management (PEM) was an incorporated document to the State Environment Protection Policy (Air Quality Management), which no longer has a formal legal role. The PEM may contribute to the state of knowledge.
The Guideline for assessing and minimising air pollution (EPA publication 1961) provides updated guidance under the Environment Protection Act 2017 in how to assess and control risks associated with air pollution, including from mining and extractive industries.
