Severe weather events

For help during flood, storm, landslide, tsunami or earthquake emergencies, contact the State Emergency Service (opens in a new window)on 13 25 00.

Fires and bushfires

For help during and after major bushfire incidents, check VicEmergency(opens in a new window) or call VicEmergency on 1800 226 226.

If there's a fire in your area, safety is your priority. Listen to advice from these emergency services:

Health concerns

For health concerns, including any symptoms caused by smoke:

• call 000 if anyone is experiencing wheezing, chest tightness or difficulty breathing
• seek medical advice
