Using SEPPs and WMPs in the new environment protection framework guide

State environment protection policies and Waste management policies do not continue under the Environment Protection Act 2017 (the Act), except in some limited circumstances.

This guide provides information on matters covered in these policies that has been replaced by new legislative instruments (such as the Act and regulations), and what content EPA considers may remain useful to the state of knowledge or consideration in regulatory decisions. The guide is intended to help people who currently use these policies in transition to the new legislative framework when it commences on 1 July 2021.
