This version applies from 1 July 2021 in line with the Environment Protection Act 2017.
The Engine Speed Maximum Power data manual is used by EPA Victoria in the enforcement of maximum exhaust levels of motor vehicles, it also provides sectors of industry with a comprehensive list of engine speeds for use in preforming measurements of exhaust noise levels as contained in the National stationary exhaust noise test procedure published by the National Transport Commission.
