| Background of offence or contravention | Jeremy Bannister is the sole Director of Jay Bannister Pty Ltd. Between July 2023 and February 2024, Jay Bannister Pty Ltd, trading as “Entire Waste Solutions”, unlawfully deposited approximately 14,210 waste tyres across two properties in Lockwood South. Neither property was authorised to accept industrial waste. Inspections of both properties revealed repeated tyre stockpiling, despite EPA directions to stop. EPA also issued an Information Gathering Notice comprising of four requirements to provide documentation related to the transport, receipt, storage, handling and/or disposal of waste tyres by 21 November 2023, to which no response was recieved. The tyres were later removed from both properties under court order. |
