EPA plays a key role in protecting air quality in Victoria.
We do this by using environmental laws and setting standards through state environment protection policies (SEPPs).
Trends help us predict future air quality issues in Victoria, and plan for them.
The Future Air Quality in Victoria report explores air quality trends up to the year 2030. We worked on this project with the Centre for Australian Weather and Climate Research. We’re using the results to:
- predict air pollution with an air quality model
- make air quality policies for Victoria.
