The Inner Melbourne Air Monitoring project sees citizen scientists work with EPA to help build understanding of air pollution impacts.

The project focuses on shipping and heavy traffic areas in Melbourne’s inner west. We're installing air monitoring equipment in areas of existing community concern.

EPA is also working to put in a place a network of indicative PM2.5 sensors. Local councils, schools and community groups are helping with this part of the project.
