How a driver can reject grouped waste in the Waste Tracker app

Drivers can pick-up, drop off, or reject waste in the Waste Tracker mobile app.

This video explains how to reject a grouped waste record in the app.

If you reject a grouped waste record, the job will go back to the administrator and can be given to another driver.

First, Log into the Waste Tracker mobile app.

Once you Log in, you'll be taken straight to the My Waste Records home screen where you'll see a list of all your waste records.

Go to the Grouped Records tab to view all the grouped records assigned to you.

Find and choose the Grouped waste record you want to reject.

Here's a tip.

You can use the waste record ID search bar or find it in your work list.

Once you are in the grouped waste record, click Add vehicle details.

Remember that you won't be able to do anything else in the waste record until you add or update the vehicle details.

Complete the vehicle information and tick the box to confirm you know how to lawfully and safely transport the waste.

Then click Update vehicle details.

Check the record and tick the box to confirm you understand that EPA collects the information you enter about the pick up and drop off of this waste load.

Then click Reject to reject the waste.

You will be asked to give the reason for rejecting the waste.

Use the dropdown arrow to select the reason and add any additional other information if relevant.

Click Reject to complete the rejection of the grouped waste.

A confirmation screen will appear.

Click Return to homepage.

The grouped waste record will be removed from your grouped records list.

Note that any individual waste records that are in transit will not be rejected.

Please note a driver can also reject an individual waste record within a grouped waste record without rejecting the whole grouped waste record.
