How a receiver can receive waste in Waste Tracker app

When a driver arrives to drop off waste, these are the steps to take to receive the waste using the Waste Tracker mobile app.

First, log into the Waste Tracker mobile app In the My Waste Records home screen, either search for the waste record ID or use the magnifying glass in the top left hand corner to find the waste record by Producer, Transporter, Vehicle Registration, or Waste Code.

Do note that the search bar allows you to search for all active individual records.

To search for grouped waste records, switch to the Grouped records tab.

While the waste record ID search will work while offline, you must be online for these new search fields to display results.

Choose the correct record, then check that the information in the waste record is correct.

Tick the box to confirm you understand that EPA collects the information you enter about the pickup and drop off of this waste load.

Click Receive waste.

You'll be asked to complete the mandatory fields in the Receive Waste for processing screen.

For Permission site, use the dropdown menu to search for the site you are located at.

Enter the amount of waste and units of waste.

If the waste is in packages, select yes and let us know the number of packages received.

Scroll down and answer yes or no if the waste needs to be in temporary confinement.

Temporary confinement means you want to notify EPA that you are receiving waste that you may not be authorised to receive and selecting yes flags that the waste consignment has been placed in temporary isolation.

Please refer to permission condition PER WM1 for more information.

Remember to include any intended treatments or discrepancy information if applicable.

Use the additional information field to include any other relevant information you want EPA to know.

Click Submit when you are ready.

A confirmation screen will appear to confirm the waste has been received and you can click Return to homepage.
