| Background of offence or contravention | On 29 June 2022, the accused emptied 4 trailer loads of industrial waste from a blue scania truck onto a property in Heathcote Junction, Victoria. The property had no permissions or authority to receive waste. Images of the industrial waste depicted objects similar to bricks, polystyrene, buckets, wood products, white plaster board all embedded within dirt. On 25 August the accused was issued an information gathering notice (IGN) requiring them to produce all documents relating to the industrial waste deposited on 29 June 2022 including details of the source of the waste. The accused did not respond to the IGN. |
