In 2022, EPA officers attended the premises and discovered stockpiles of waste being stored at the premises unlawfully. Officers issued an environmental action notice to Tombell Limsed to lawfully dispose of the waste and provide evidence of such to EPA. Over the course of 2022, waste at the premises was observed to have been moved to another unlawful site, and no evidence was provided of lawful disposal of 397 of the estimated 463.5 tonnes of waste was ever provided. |
