Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is Victoria’s environmental regulator.
We work to prevent and reduce the harmful effects of pollution and waste on Victorians and their environment. We work with the community, industry and businesses.
We’re an independent statutory authority, established in 1971 under the Environment Protection Act 1970. Our new act came into effect on 1 July 2021.
Our Minister is the Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio MP, Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change.
