Preliminary risk screen assessments and environmental audits are conducted by an EPA-appointed environmental auditor. They prepare a statement and report to complete each process.

EPA maintains registers of preliminary risk screen assessments and environmental audits completed from 1 July 2021 onwards.

The register of environmental audits also includes audits completed prior to 1 July 2021 under the Environment Protection Act 1970. This includes Section 53X audits completed since the start of the environmental audit system in 1990 and Section 53V audits completed since January 2014.

If you can’t find the environmental audit report you’re looking for, contact EPA.
