This guideline describes the vehicle requirements for non-tanker vehicles/trailers that transport prescribed industrial waste. It forms part of the Industrial Waste Resource Guidelines, which offer guidance for wastes and resources regulated under the Environment Protection (Industrial Waste Resource) Regulations 2009. It is a condition of the ‘Permit to transport prescribed industrial waste’ that the vehicle meets the requirements for the type of waste being transported.
