Example

Chris wants to repurpose scrap metal he gets from local mechanics. Because he is receiving waste, Chris needs to be authorised to receive this type of waste.

Chris visits Depositing and receiving industrial waste. There he finds out how to be authorised and if he needs a permission.

Chris confirms he needs a registration for A13c – Waste and resource recovery (small). He applies and obtains registration.

Chris is authorised to receive the scrap metal in accordance with the registration.
