This guideline sets out acceptable specifications for modification works to water corporation sewage treatment plants to be exempt from works approval under Schedule 1 of the Environment Protection (Scheduled Premises) Regulations 2017. This publication follows consultation on a draft version of the guideline (publication 1660, July 2017).
