Air quality was monitored alongside the Westgate Freeway in Brooklyn during the period March to November 2004. The results of this study are consistent with other roadside monitoring undertaken across various parts of the metropolitan area which indicate that within a very short distance from roads, ambient air quality objectives are generally met.
