As a transporter of waste, you can reject waste from a producer in Waste Tracker   .

You can reject waste for various reasons, including:

  • the amount of waste exceeds permission
  • different classification or contaminants
  • waste characteristics
  • incorrect waste classification
  • it conflicts with the organisation’s policies and procedures
  • the driver didn’t or wasn’t required to pick up the waste.

Follow these steps to reject the waste.

Step 1: Log in

Log in to the EPA portal.

Step two: Open the Manage waste menu

From the Manage waste menu, choose the Waste transporter dashboard.

Step three: Waste transporter dashboard

In the Waste transporter dashboard you’ll see a list of your waste records.

Find the waste record you want to reject.

You can also search for the waste record ID in the search bar.

Step four: Reject waste

In the My waste records tab, click the arrow on the right of the record and select Reject waste from the dropdown list.

Step five: Waste rejection

In the Reject waste screen, scroll to Waste rejection details at the bottom. Choose the reason you’re rejecting the waste from the dropdown menu.

Include any other relevant information into the Additional information field.

Click Reject to process the request.
